Kelly L. Cassidy, CPA/CITP/CGMA

Kelly joined MQS in 2005. In 2018, Kelly became a member of the firm. Her responsibilities include individual and corporate taxation, Not-for-profit auditing and quality control review.

She is involved in various civic and charitable organizations.

Kelly is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant, and AICPA's Not-For-Profit Section. Kelly is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (“CGMA”) designation holder.

Kelly graduated Summa Cum Laude from Felician College in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science degree and obtained her Masters of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University in 2009. Kelly currently lives in Pompton Plains, NJ with her husband, Mike, and their two children.  

 

 

 

David J. O'Brien CPA/CGMA

Dave joined MQS in 2004. In 2018, David became a member of the firm. His responsibilities include individual, corporate, and estate and trust taxation as well as auditing.

Dave is involved in various civic and charitable organizations, including the Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary Club.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant, and AICPA’s Not-For-Profit Section. Dave is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (“CGMA”) designation holder.

Dave graduated Summa Cum Laude from Felician College in 2004 with Bachelors of Science degrees in accounting and mathematics. Dave currently lives in Midland Park, NJ with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children.

 

 

 

Paola Soriano CPA/CGMA

Paola joined MQS in 2008. In 2020, Paola became a member of the firm. Her responsibilities include individual, corporate, and trust taxation as well as auditing, including NJ private schools for students with disabilities, and other engagement attestations.

Paola is involved in various civic and charitable organizations.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant, and AICPA’s Not-For-Profit Section.

Paola graduated from William Paterson University in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting and obtained her Masters of Science degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2015.       

 

 

Thomas J. Flannery, CPA/CGMA

Member

Tom joined MQS in 1983, after being with Price Waterhouse as a staff accountant. In 1989, Tom became a member of the firm. His responsibilities include individual and corporate taxation, auditing, and small business consulting. 

Tom is involved in various civic and charitable organizations, including Treasurer of Huru International Inc. and Treasurer of Divabetic LLC. His former positions include being a member of the Board of Advisors of Niagara University and a member of the St. Paul's Church Finance Committee.

Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant. Tom is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (“CGMA”) designation holder.

Tom graduated Magna Cum Laude from Niagara University in 1981 and currently lives in Ramsey, NJ with his wife, Susan.

 

 

 

Raymond J. Vanaria, CPA/CGMA

Member

Ray joined MQS in 1983, after spending several years with Price Waterhouse as a staff accountant. In 1989, Ray became a member of the firm. Ray specializes in individual and corporate taxation, auditing, small business consulting, litigation, arbitration, and expert witness and courtroom testimony.

He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of ConnectOne Bancorp, Inc. and chairs its Audit Committee. In addition, Raymond serves as a Board Member of the Edward Sisco Senior Citizens Village and Friends of Laurelwood Arboretum in Wayne, NJ.

Ray is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant. Ray is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (“CGMA”) designation holder.

Ray graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration - Finance.  Ray is married with three children and resides in Longboat Key, FL.

 

 

 

 

Robert E. Saydah, CPA/ABV/CGMA

Rob joined MQS in 1985, after spending several years with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. as a manager.  In 1985, Rob became a member of the firm.  His responsibilities include individual and corporate taxation, business valuation and other small business consulting, estate planning, and auditing.

Rob is involved with multiple civic and charitable organizations.  He currently serves as a charter board member of the Glen Rock Educational Foundation.  His previously-held officer positions include President of the Passaic County Chapter of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, President of the Ridgewood AM Rotary Club, Vice President of the Hackensack YMCA, Treasurer of the Children's Aid and Family Services, Inc., and President of the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club. 

Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant. Rob is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (“CGMA”) designation holder as well as Accredited in Business Valuation (“ABV”).

Rob graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration.  Rob lives in Glen Rock, NJ, with his wife Judy.
